Cross-country Skiing
Saalfelden and Leogang has evolved into a real biathlon stronghold in recent years. Up to 150 km top-kept trails for all levels and every styles are available. This even lead to the neighboring villages of Maria Alm, Maishofen or in the Biathlon World Cup metropolis Hochfilzen.
Similarly to nordic walking, 90 percent of all muscles are required, the joints are protected and the circulation is reinforced. Cross-country skiing is not only an endurance sport, but also lets you enjoy the nature while ski touring.
