Climbing
Leogang and Saalfelden offer through the ubiquitous "stone and grass mountains" an almost unsurpassable variety of challenges for climbers. The large peaks of the mountain scenery can be experienced only with courage, a rope and a hook - and of course with a certified mountain and ski guide.
In the winter and summer there are two climbing walls, a rope course and fixed rope routes in varying difficulty. In the entire "Stone Mountain” climbing region, which also includes the Loferer Mountains and the Waidring Slab, there are more than 1,000 different routes.
